so if you’re online you probably have heard about “aliyah-Core” . The 19 year old internet superstar has a distinct sense of style; gathering inspo from y2k to harajuku streetwear just to name a few; but people are showing a strong hatred towards her and her style.

personally i believe that when people see a Black woman with power and influence they try to find anything to discredit and tear them down. I think this is so evident. I’ve even seen people say “people like aliyah and the people that partake in this trend would’ve bullied us in school for wearing the same thing” …… yall need to be so serious and stop using your own personal trauma and deflecting that on to others…… whatever happened to supporting black businesses and supporting black people?

And it’s crazy because so many people are starting to dress like aliyah and are participating in “Aliyah-core” whether you think she created it or not! HAVE FUN!
